Here is another picture of The River Shannon. This time, we are on that same bridge
built back in 1831, but are looking at the result of a low tide--the rocky bottom. You
can see King John's Castle in the far left background. They are constructing a barrier,
on the right side of the picture, to keep the water out while a marina is built. |
